Printable FLY Math Tutorials (Mini-lessons)

Each month, we post a new math tutorial incorporating financial literacy skills and math concepts aligned to Common Core State Standards. FLY Math Tutorials are designed to take 15-20 minutes for students to complete and can serve as mini-lessons to review learned content.

Each tutorial includes the following sections:

Read: Students engage in a grade level aligned math word problem.

Solve: Students solve the math word problem.

Watch: Students view a video explaining the solution to the math problem.

Write: Students create a math word problem based on a content         aligned vocabulary word and a Common Core State Standard.

Partner work: Students switch math problems with a partner to solve and check for accuracy.
